Bummer of a day… I got laid off from my job at Mortar. I am going to look at this layoff as an opportunity for positive change, but will terribly miss the friends I have come to care for at the family-like agency over the past 2 years. The bright side is that I can spend more time with Nora (I am going to volunteer in her classroom more), which is an extremely rewarding perk. And more time to train for the AIDS ride! Eventually I will get back to work, but I don’t want to think about that right now.
